Recruiting“Advocacy Researcher ”&“International Advocacy Specialist or Manager”

Research has always been an important and indispensable part of Taiwan Equality Campaign(TEC). Through qualitative and quantitative research on Taiwanese society, we plan and formulate advocacy directions and narratives. Since the legislation of same-sex marriage, TEC has conducted annual social attitude surveys to understand whether society has become more friendly toward the LGBTQ+ community. In different projects, we also use various research methods, such as focus groups, questionnaires, and interviews, to understand the situation of LGBTQ+ individuals in the political environment and workplaces, guiding the next steps for each project.

In addition, international advocacy is also a key focus of TEC. Whether it’s participating in international LGBTQ+ organization conferences, visiting different countries to learn about their LGBTQ+ policies, or attending online or Physical workshops, our international work is not only about sharing Taiwan’s experience but also about building connections and advocating for LGBTQ+ rights on a regional and international scale. For example, at the end of 2023, we formed the "East Asia Alliance for Anti-discrimination" with partners from Japan and South Korea, aiming to expand the energy of the LGBTQ+ movement in East Asia through this alliance.

We want to invite you to join us in these important endeavors!

If you are interested in developing and coordinating gender-related research and surveys, or if you are passionate about international LGBTQ+ advocacy, we welcome you to join the Taiwan Equality Campaign and help us #TakeActionForEveryoneUnique!
